Our Story

👥 About the Founders

Steven & Eleni are siblings, and have both been playing piano for over 18 years, passed all 8 Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) grades by 16, and co-founded the International Academy of Music in Sydney in 2018, where they still teach. They also run the Universal Piano YouTube channel @UniversalPiano, where Steve performs advanced piano covers in long-form for experienced players, and tutorials in short-form for beginners.

Steven is the Director and Head Teacher of the 5-star Google-rated International Academy of Music. He has earned three AMus (Associate in Music) level diplomas and holds the rare ability of perfect pitch — the ability to name any note just by hearing it (found in only 1 in 10,000 people).

Eleni enjoys playing jazz and is always on the lookout for new pieces to learn.

🎶How Moozyk Began 

A couple of years ago, two sibling piano teachers noticed a recurring challenge at their academy. Students arrived with flimsy, low quality (and not very stylish) folders that simply weren’t made for musicians. We kept seeing the same issues:

  • Glare on the sleeves made reading difficult
  • Taking notes meant removing the sheet each time
  • Folders wouldn’t lay flat on the piano
  • Page turning felt awkward
  • Folders that easily broke, had flimsy pages and unattractive colour schemes

So we created our own solution — a clean, stylish complete kit that actually worked for musicians. It includes a folder with no-glare sleeves, easy note-taking, smooth page turns, plus a pencil holder, pencil, and divider tabs — everything needed to stay organised while practising and performing.

It quickly became our best-selling product. Our students noticed the difference straight away: cleaner storage, easier practice, and more confident, polished performances.

What started as tools for pianists has now grown into a range designed for all musicians — with products that look good, stay organised, and make practising simpler.

We originally launched as Piano Glory, named after our mum, Gloria. As our products expanded beyond piano, as of January 2026, we changed our name to Moozyk to better reflect who we serve today - all musicians!
